Purple
Alrighty, I’m starting to change the Ninjabi colors to purples/lilacs on the whole site.
Umair asked me how I create comics. Well, lets go into that :
It all starts with an idea. I work out the dialogue and storyboard a little with stick figure sketchs to figure out what panel says what. This is also run across the other members of Ninjabi crew for feedback and changes. Then I illustrate or cut and paste images from previous comics ( to try to remain consistant in the drawings ) and edit them via Illustrator. After it’s all done, I save them as .gif and go into photoshop and crop the image size down.
As for what gets told, well, the comics are based on things that me or the rest of the crew have experienced. We hope to go into other issues later on, but right now, we’re trying to keep it simple.
Yeah, it’s that simple. I’m going to start using 3D images for the comics soon. It’ll make the production of the comics MUCH faster, insha’Allah.
I’m going to try to go to Muslimfest again, and have a booth. Hopefully that’ll be helpful in actually moving merchandise. And I’ll try to have more things to sell too, like..socks. I want to have keychains and stuffed animals
