About Ninjabi the comic

A joint project that was thought up almost 3 years ago but didn't really go anywhere until last year (2005). The comic is loosely based on the creators' lives and [hopes to] deals with many current issues facing muslim youth. The main character is Noor, a hijabi muslim girl. Her best friends include non-muslims and non-hijabis.

Each comic is stamped with the names of who helped or contributed to the comic. Some comics might feature a "whf" tag--This stands for "With Help From." I like to give credit where due, but it's mostly to keep track of everything and have a record.

About the creators

• amethyst

Majored in "Digital Art" and lives in the States. Enjoy all things purple/lavendar, except grape juice. Has been drawing since about 6th grade. This is her first official comic. (She had a few little ones growing up. But they dont REALLY count)

A "Business Management" major who is now working for Lacoste (she felt like she needed to advertise this). She has been Amethyst's best friend since freshman year of high school. She is currently engaged to be married. Her lifelong dream is to own her own business; perhaps in partnership with Amethyst with Ninjabi. She has big hopes for Ninjabi. She also has no clue what the big deal is with grape juice but she LOVES everything grape anyway so it works for her.

As a "Business Management" major who is headed for one of her first modelling/acting auditions, this voiceover-er of the "arrange marriage" shoot defied all odds by arranging her own love marriage. She has finally accepted the color pink and has no problem with the likes of grape juice.

Your all-around nerd. Has a thing for photography and geeky/nerdy information like "code". Lives in Canada and has a real job. Doesn't like it when amethyst says, "I told you so!" Also, likes grape juice.
